brought a tear to my eye. what a waste.maybe he,s singing with Stevie Ray now.

I guess you could say I'm obsessed with AC/DC.:-D They are by far my favorite band, and I have every album.

The people that fight about Bon vs. Brian are stupid. I like all AC/DC from Dave Evans all the way to Black Ice. Even their '80s stuff is awesome. (Fly on the Wall and Blow Up Your Video are great albums!)

Sad he had to go. Imagine where the could have been if he hadn't went drinking that night. If you listen to the Bon song "Carry Me Home" it is spooky how much it relates about his death. There is a rumor that while touring in Europe Bon and the band stopped at a fortune teller and he was told he would die from drinking, and that was the inspiration for "Carry Me Home." The song was never released on an album (until BackTracks) but was the B-Side of Dog Eat Dog. I believe it.:read2:

It tells about a guy going drinking with a girl, and she drinks him under the table. He then begs here to "carry him home" because he can't afford a taxi, and it's too late for the bus.

This video starts out with a different song. Just listen.

If you are really into AC/DC, check this user out on YouTube. He put a bunch of EXTREMELY early bootleg songs up.

These are from a recording at the Hampton Court Hotel in Australia. They are from a New Years eve show in 1974. This was one of AC/DC's earliest gigs, back when they still had Dave Evans on vocals. Most of them are covers, but some are original like "Stay for a While" which is below (and my favorite from the bootleg.) Nobody knows if this was before or after they started calling themselves AC/DC, because at the really early gigs at clubs they didn't have a name. (If you have seen the Last Picture Show Theatre video with Dave Evans singing "Can I Sit Next to You, Girl," that is the earliest known recording with the name AC/DC. Posted below.) One of those songs even has Malcolm Young on LEAD vocals. Forget which one it is though.

Here is "Stay for a While." It is low quality, but it was 1974, and it's a bootleg. Don't expect much.

This is the earliest video recording of AC/DC. Dave Evans is on vocals. (He is the read-headed stepchild of AC/DC I guess you could say. I don't mind his singing personally. Bon and Brian are better IMHO.:-D) More of a glam rocker though.

That song was their first single in 1974. After the switch to Bon, the song was rerecorded with Bon on vocals, a few slight changes were made, and released on High Voltage.

This site has some GREAT tour info. Click 74/75 to see their early gigs. (The '73 shows are under '74 because there are only a few.)

http://crabsodyinblue.com/acdchomepage.htm LOT of info here too.

(And no, I didn't copy or paste any of this. Maybe that's the reason I had a C in Math.:))

Hey Dave good job I love old Bon Scott ACDC! Did you know he was actually a drummer by trade. I have a bootleg of him singing "Gloria" with the Spectres pre ACDC.

His first job with AC/DC, he was their driver. His real name is Ronald Belford Scott. "Bon Scott" is short for Boney Scottsman, he was a skinny scottsman.

I have the DVD kit..AC/DC Family Jewels. My favorite is It,s along way to the top,if you want to Rock and Roll.RIP Bon!
