Bought a Duster

Hey guys...I sold my 73 Swinger to a couple of really nice guys from Woodward, OK. They bought it for a guy who just went through a cancer battle and is a little down on his luck right now. A great story of true good friends.

I searched high and low for another A-Body to try and get the best bang for my buck. I bought 3404Speed's 74 Duster out of Colorado. I think I have a good starting platform. It was on the ForABody classifieds for about a month. After a few emails/texts and phone calls and feeling comfortable about the car and seller, I sent a friend of mine up to Denver and hauled it home this weekend. Thanks to Paul/3404speed for being upfront and honest and helping my driver get it all loaded up for the 12 hour drive back to Tulsa!

Just finished that trip, on vacation visiting the girlfriend's sister. Had a lot of fun out there. Keep it under 85 I-70 and 135 and you're golden.

Update...a few things I have done to the Duster. Blasted and painted wheels, new 275 60 15 BFG;s on back to match the ones on front. Stripe kit. Painted bumpers and grill. Wayne Smoothers will be installing my new 400 hp 360 he built for me next week. Go Wing ordered from FPAP and hood scoop is being shipped. Interior is next. Trying to have all done for the "Mopars In The Park" November 2nd at Tulsa Speedway.

340 motor is out...360 going in!!!!
Recieved original A-Body hood scoop and prepping it for paint. Go Wing is still in box.
Trying to have it ready for brother-in-laws car show in Hugo,OK by next weekend!
I'll post pictures if I make it!
