Brake line adaptor, 67 Dart Gt, original KH disc

Ok OEM gurus...

67 Dart GT, 273 2bbl, original KH front disc.

My Dart has brass adapters on the MC. I always thought they were add due to a replaced MC that was not correct. ( Have no evidence of this but my dad was know for adapting things some times)

A local old timer said they were OEM with disc brakes.

I can not say I have ever seen any on other cars.

What say you?

100% original on 67 A-Body's only. All 67 GTS's came with manual disc brakes and included those adapters. My 67 Dart GT convertible 273-4bbl came with them also.

Standard equipment was 9 inch or 10 inch drum brakes all around. Kelsey Hayes disc brakes are aftermarket brand produced for Chrysler and Ford. Where a different master cylinder is required for something different from standard brakes, line adapters may be factory installed.
