Brakes for 8 1/4 rear end.

Will rear brakes from a 73 Challenger E-body fit a A-body 8 1/4 axle or 8 3/4 axle? Backing plates, drums and hardwear? The brakes are from a 73 Challenger with a 340 auto. The rear axle is big bolt not sure if it's 8 1/4 or 8 3/4. I believe they are 10" or 11" drums

All 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 b.plates and brakes and drums are interchangeable.Oh yeah,hi Roman!I,m going in the morning to have alignment done on the 66.Give me a call on my cell.Scott

it doesn't matter...brakes interchange across 8 1/4, 8 3/4, 9 1/4, and Dana's if they are of the 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
