Im doing a big block conversion and need to loose my power brake booster.Once I removed it I noticed that it wont mate back up with the pedal because of what looks like a part of the brake pedal that held the theaded adjusting rod.Do I have to replace the whole pedal assembly? Will I need a new non-power master cylinder?Any advice is good would be helpful as I might need brakes someday.

You will need to get a manual brake rod. I would go buy a new master cylinder also there not very expensive I just did this conversion on my 74 duster.

You should be able to use your old master cylinder. You'll need a new manual brake pushrod. I had to cut and weld mine twice before I got the pedal height where I wanted it. Might not be a bad time to upgrade to one of the newer lightweight master cylinders too.
