Do you have a gear drive or just a nice timing cover ?
Just the good timing cover from AR Engineering.
I keep wanting a gear drive, but the price goes up every damn day it seems
I was going to go gear drive, but the price made me stay with a double roller timing chain and gear set too!

Everything looks nice, that pan looks good the way they did the fittings for the pickup. My buddy has been waiting for his intermediate shaft from Milidon with the bronze gear forever and nobody seems to have any. Do you have any extras ?

I bought a comp cam bronze gear to pin on , hopefully it will work out.

I skipped the middle pages/posts , you guys do know there are melonized dist. gears for roller cams , Hughs engines had them first (I think) , I`ve been running one for about 12ish yrs. or more in my 505....no need for a bronze gear that might wear quickly. Altho we had a bronze gear in the old hemi car ,and experienced no wear with it ...
Yes, at the time when I pulled the trigger on buying my parts that was all I could budget, but like I always do...I'll buy a melonized gear and keep the bronze for something else I may or may not build lol.
Yes, my gear is from Hughs and it is melonized.
More progress heads and valley pan are installed. Running into issue with water pump lower radiator hose will hit oil line that goes into my block.

We didn't use that 45 out of the pump I'm thinking, if I knew how to take & post a pic I would. We have the same set up and everything clears. I'll see if I can get my buddy in Twinsburg Twp. to get a pic and post. Where are you dynoing your motor ?
Ed is the car at your shop? I could just run up and see it and take measurements?
I have not decided on Dyno yet.

you could change the location of the oil line into the oil pump too.
Mine goes into the back of the pump, its a milodon piece if I remember right...
I am trying to run a dual line pickup using one pump port and one block port. May have to pony up for the Meiziere pump or cut and weld my current aluminum housing to make it a 45 degree instead of a straight fitting?

If you know your going to end up buying the Meziere pump, may as well try and cut your existing water pump like you said cause if it gets messed up or doesn’t work, you already planned on buying the meziere
