I have a rebuilt 383 engine for sale. This engine was in the Dart Sport when I bought it. The engine has around 4500 miles on it. The engine code on the side reads 2468130 with a production date of 6/24/69.
Bored .30 over
MP purple cam .509
Double roller timing chain
Cast iron heads with aftermarket ductile iron rockers
Mildon 7 qt oil pan
Weiand Tunnel Ram # 5986
2 Mighty Demon carbs # 5402010TR these are tunnel ram carb’s and work great.
MP chrome timing chain cover
High volume oil pump
Mallory Unilite Dist
Barry Grant 4 port regulator #170023
1” carbs spacer’s
Fuel pressure gauge
Tunnel Ram carb linkage
I also have the alternator brackets that will go with the engine.
I am guessing this 383 produce’s around 400-425 HP it pulls hard and straight. I raced it once in the 1/8 mile it ran my Dart Sport to an 8.30 this is a fully trimmed street car not a race car. The engine runs great, I hate to sell the thing but I moved to a 440 and its also tax time and Uncle Sam has his hand out this year! Feel free to call with any questions 912-288-6542 I alternate days and nights once a week so leave a message if I do not answer.
I am asking 3500.00 OBO Plus freight. I have bought engines before and freight was around 300 for me this was through Old Dominion Freight. Shipping is from 31543 Hortense, GA.
