So i bought the MbM disc brake kit for my 71 Demon from Pirate Jack. Got the kit and started assembly a few weeks ago. They forgot to send the rubber brake hoses with the kit. When i finally got the lines and put them on, i found out that one of the caliper holes was stripped where the banjo bolt threads into. Didn't even get it snug before it does spun.
I tried to get ahold of them with no response. Screw it.. I ordered a new caliper from my local O'reillys, next day it arrived.. Just to find out that the banjo bolt is a different size, the correct banjo bolt for that caliper doesnt fit threw the caliper end of the rubber hose fitting. The banjo bolt is bigger dia. with a different thread pattern.
What is the correct banjo bolt size? I now would have one that is bigger and one that is smaller, lol. I'm fine with the bigger size but now need a new hose for the bigger banjo bolt.
I just need to know what sizes i need.
