I'm hoping to get my car ready for at least the last couple of races for the year. It's gonna be a Time Attack car
(solo racing against the clock on a road course).
It's gonna be a caged and gutted 85 fifth ave with fairly stock suspension with a few tricks.
Swapping in a 4 gear and 8 3/4 gears yet to be determined probably 4.??:1.
The engine is the stock "low cr" 85 long block with headers and eddy performer intake, low rpm bottom end power isn't much of a concern, I imagine the powerband needs to be between 3000-6000 range, any cam recommendions???
