Cam number ?

Well, his picture shows a crank sprocket with multiple keyways, so I'd guess at the crank....

Short of taking the intake off, how am i supposed to measure the cam with hyd lifters.

See if you can get something to ride down on the lip of the lifter or on the clip and come up through the pushrod hole; a 'button' of some sort on the end of the pushrod might do it.. Needs to be about in line with the pushrod's normal angle.

Thanks for all the advice but it's back together now and it's staying that way, i need to finish putting my 470 together for the car in my sig.
