Cam selected... any haters???

One of my all time favorites is the Crane H-302-2. For big and small blocks that need well rounded power. And the last hydraulic roller I used was a Crane. I love thier stuff, but it's expensive. I have two new in box that I bought when they went out of business. Now the stuff is 30-50% more expensive than prior to the restructure. So not always my first choice.

230 w/ .520 lift intake (.488 - 1.5)
236 w/ .5237 lift exhaust (.491 - 1.5)
on a 110, 1800 - 6000 rpm.

Similar cam here minus the usage of the 1.6 ratio rockers.

(Just food for thought;) )

Hydraulic flat tappet

Basic Operating RPM Range 2,000-6,000

Duration at 050 inch Lift 231 int./237 exh.

Advertised Duration 275 int./287 exh.

Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio 0.525 int./0.525 exh.

Lobe Separation (degrees) 110

With a 1.6 ratio, the lift works out to be .560

I got one of there cams lifters push rods timing chain the whole package, the cam did not fit in the block right, did not line up with the lifter bores, sent it back that took some of the first jounal, still did not fit had a friend take off .025 more and it worked, ran that for a while and went to change the heads and found 3 broken lifters, pulled the motor down 2 yrs later not many miles and the timing chain looked like it had been in there for 100k

Never again will i comp cams products dont like the grind specs either
