Hi!

I would like to get a recommendation for a camshaft to my car

It has to be a crane camshaft since that's what's offered by my local vendor.

It's a '66 Dart

318 with 10:1 compression, 360 heads, 650 DP, 360 4barrel intake, stock manifolds but dual exhaust.

904 transmission

8.75 rear

No stall converter and stock gearing in the rear, around 1700 Rpm at 65mph. 14" Wheels.

Hey mate.

where is northern sweeden.. i live in northern Norway by the border.. i have a missbought complete Edelbrock rpm pacage.. cam, chain, lifters, inntake and a mp chrome ignition box.. this parts came new in box with the stroker donor im building now.

Haha! Then were almost neighbours ;) I live on the north-east coast of Østersjøen ;D Ooh, what are you going to do with the parts now?

im not sure was thinkin to sell em. or build up some of the 318 i have in the garage.. but u check it the guys here will recomend it first.. im not the biggest eddy fan myself

I wouldn't go much above a cam that is in the 215-220 @ .050 range on a 110-112 LSA

You get much larger and the engine will be a total dog down low, especially with a stock converter and 2.90-3.23 gears

Norway, what is the specifications on the edelbrock cam?

crackedback, Right. How about the aforementioned Edelbrock cam?

The RPM cam is way to big for this application. its 230-240 @.050" I agree with Rob keep it real small. I would say around 210* @.050"

Where does your guy get Crane from?? I'd love to get my hands on some... I don't think they are back in production yet. I used Crane quite a bit.

hmm anyways :) its cool to know there are more mopar guys up here :P going to pite dragway next summer?

to norternswede \\ I HOPE YOU CAN HEAR ME WAY OVER THERE :director:
here is a great crane cam for your car
it will work very well due to your car being so light and the older 904 transmissions have a higher stall speed of 2400 rpm.
this cam is perfect for a stock 318 head and it's only 216 duration @ 50
you can even tow with it.lots and lots of torque.
you said you have 10 to 1 compression \\\ it's just right

GOOD IDLE, DAILY USAGE, OFF ROAD, HIGHWAY TOWING, FUEL EFFICIENCY PLUS PERFORMANCE, 2600-3000 CRUISE RPM, 8.75 TO 10.0 COMPRESSION RATIO ADVISED.

GOOD LUCK:cya::cya:

MP .528 lift solid 112cl 284* 241@.050 installed 4 degrees advanced

Then get 2600-2800 stall convertor [2500 minimum] and at least 3.73 gears.

A rpm or ld340 dual plane with those 360 heads would work nice too.
