Can anyone ID a 275 horse 273?

In 66-67 Mopar produced a D-dart with a 275 horse 273. My question is can anyone here shed some light on this motor? Like how to tell if I have one. I have a273, with 2658920 closed chamber heads, solid lift cam,full floating wrist pins,windage tray. Block numbers are C273 12-29 2806030-273-2
10-13-66. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I think the tray is a giveaway, as would be the intake and carb and pistons. I dont know the numbers. But they were supposed to be different from std 273 4bbls in those areas. Sorry I can't help more...I never really got into 273s much.
 
The motors were basically the same with the exception of a different cam, holley carb and headers.

I have read about the differences, 500 solid lift cam ,700 holley carb , and tube headers. I just wonder if there was some marking or lettering on the motor that denoted it was a 275 HP. There is very little info out there about this engine.
 
I found this statement on an allpar link:

The first LA was the 273, with a two barrel carb, and 180 hp (gross). By 1965, a four-barrel carb and high performance cam were available to push that to 235 hp; and, in 1966, a limited edition 273 with a 700 cfm carb and .500" lift cam put out 275 hp (gross).
 
hi, if you measure the bores in the intake manifold, the 275 had 1 11/16 bores. same as the holley carb, which should be on motor. check valve lift, it should be .500 lift at the valve. these are the two items that seperate the 235 from the 275 273 motors. plus it was only offered in late 1966. plus there wasn't a windage tray used. those came out in the 340 motors in 1968.
 
All D-Darts were built on April 17, 1966. The date cast into one of my D-Dart blocks is 2-28-66. The block P/N is 2806030-3. On the front pad below the cylinder head is hand stamped P273-4-XX. The XX on one of my engines is 26 and the other is 27.
