Can I get 66 Mopar lock set to work on 65 barracuda??

What's the diffence. . Can I get this to work on my 65?

I wish I could say yes and be positive scotty, my guess is yes, but seems like they skip 66 A bodies.. seems I did pull a passenger door lock off a 66 wagon and put it on my 63 Valiant I had years ago, But I can't say for sure.. sorry, I hope some one can get to you on this soon.

yes, but there will be extra work. the 66 has the later ( larger ) lock opening.
the 65 has a much smaller lock opening. i know this because i just tried to put the locks from the 65 i parted out into my 66.

Yup he has it correct for 66 to work you need to open the hole for the door lock a little with a file.

I just sent back a 66 lockset I bought from Herb'sparts for my 65..totally different look between the two. Ended up buying a used lockset for a 65 from a member here. The hole needs to be a lot bigger to fit the 66 lockset.
