I know I'm right....
I got a few leakers on a truck and they want bocoup bucks for replacements (ie, $150 for the choke pull oiff!!!!) Anyway, I used a water thinned caulk that I brushed on to sone doped speaker cones a while ago to reseal them and it worked great. Could you do the same to a dashpot, maybe pour in the thinned "milk" into the side opposite the vacuum source, swish it around and pour out excess? Maybe a few applications until the thing is vacuum tight? Or is it time to uncrimp them ansd just replace the diaphragm ir repair the hole with rubber cement? I'm sure there are restrorers rthat have some rtricks on vent actuators..
