I recently posted that I’m looking for a reputable car hauler. Someone kindly responded with the name of a hauler they used and would recommend.
Now when I need it I can’t find his response! If the same person or someone else could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!
This would be an east coast corridor move.
Thanks again!

Wow!
As much as I’ve used FABO I never saw this transporter section,
Thank you very much!
It is a sticky thread in the Mopars For Sale forum. Easy to find if you can remember where it's at.

Half the time I can’t remember what I’m doing! lol
I took a screenshot!
Thank you the responses have been quicker than Ex-Lax!

I am available, just don't like working on the east coast...LOL.. I do have to go to the Rochester, NY area soon...

Ugh, LI is always a beotch! I did it during Covid lockdown and it was almost OK as most people were home. Then I did it early this year, can't believe I made it out alive...LOL..
That’s how I feel when I go and visit family. Being a life long (55 years) islander, the key is off your travel. AKA - the middle of the night. Post 10:00pm to 5:00am is the best time but no guaranteed easy passage through anything.
I don't know if @rumblefish360 goes home for the holidays, but if he sees this he will say if he would be interested or knows a guy.

I’m not opposed to helping out if it works out in timing.
Trailering a trailer from mid Florida to pick up a car in Philly to deliver to the island is a huge drag on fuel.

The last trip I had to go to CT first, so I found out they allowed trailers on the ferry's so I took my 24' enclosed on the ferry. It was around $188 but just thinking of going around the bay and through the chity then back out again it was well worth it! I had a nice ride and found out the history as it was a WW2 LST originally and they had a nice history of the boat onboard! Plus they had a bar and a bowl of soup, another reason to relax and not try to drive through twice!

Thanks for all the great feedback !
I recall 15 yrs ago going to Long Island, I didn’t realize how long it is. Lol
117 miles tip to tip.

Port Jefferson / Bridgeport ferry? I’m have taken that many times. It’s about the same/slightly quicker than driving around the LI sound. But the comfort level of a nice short cruise across the sound to ether sleep, read, eat or have a drink is a super slam dunk as far as I’m concerned. There are also other ferry rides available. Groton Ct. to Orient Point is another one. A much smaller ferry.

Yep, Port Jefferson. It is MUCH quicker than toting an enclosed trailer around the sound, and 100% about the comfort level!
