Looking for some help picking out a carb and intake for a 360 ,bored 30 over ,10-1 compression the cam is 509 lift 230-240 duration ,340 j heads 202 valves

gears?
manual or automatic?
converter?

As a baseline and keeping it simple, I'm thinking 750 double pumper with Air Gap intake.

I am going to go ahead and be the first to say this....I'll share with you my little intake secret. Eddie RPM Air-gap. Its rare to find those on small block mopars.

Street a d strip cars shod use the RPM a da 750cfm carb. Automatic cars that are more street than strip will like a vacuum secondar carb.

Automatic are that are more strip and all manual cars will like a DP Holley a bit more.

A strip only ride will like a single plane M-1 a d a DP since a thing below 3000 RPM's is ignored.
I would suggests Holley 1st and foremost as the bet ran to use with the cam. Also a 4 corner idle system would be a tad nicer as well.

Oh, I was doing the reply while you posted.

What is your tire size? I'm an inch from telling you that you have to much cam.
Otherwise, rpm and a 650. You lack stall by a thousand RPM's easy.

If you run it on cold mornings/days I would skip the air gap and use the performer rpm. An edelbrock 650 cfm avs would be my street choice.

I just bought the car , it has a stock intake with a eddy 750 on it I think it's a 1411 model ,tires on the rear are 275/60/15

My opinion is there isn't a bolt on a go carb for you combo, especially with that cam. Tuning will be a must to get the best performance and drivability from whatever you choose. You have the leaner version of the Eddy 750 where as the MDL-1407 is more performance oriented. My personal opinion would be to use the 670 Holley Avenger. It comes with a 6.5" power valve and a .031 accelerator pump nozzle. For the street it should be small enough to be responsive and the secondary opening is easily tunable with springs. Along with a Eddy Rpm or Weiand Stealth intake, it would be a decent choice, imo.
