Can someone identify this carb on my 1974 Duster? It's leaking pretty bad and I thought I'd replace it. Also, any good place to buy a rebuilt one? I saw them fairly cheap at Rock auto but wasn't sure which one to choose. Thanks.

There are many bad rebuilt carbs for sale (including rock's) and many people are disappointed after spending a lot thinking that will solve their problem.

If it is leaking while idling, the bowl must be overflowing - either the float sunk of the needle has junk in it. Both are easy to trouble-shoot and fix. I would try that first. I haven't worked on a 1945, but it looks like you can remove the top fairly easy on the car, and probably re-use the gasket. Stuff some paper towels down the throat in case you drop a screw. If you want to go further, buy a rebuild kit and take it off for some bench work.

Of course, if you can find a new carb on ebay cheap, that might be best. I got a new Carter BBD for my small block for $25 and it works fine. Slant carbs are rarer. I think many would work. People love the Holley 1945. I have a Carter BBS on my slant, which seems fine. I don't recommend the Holley 1920 due to personal experience with 3 bad rebuilt ones. There was a Holley Economizer carb in the early 80's. I see new ones on ebay occasionally.
 
carter BBDs are good carbs in my experience. as Bill states, a lot of disappointment with re-mans. i would just rebuild the carb you have, learn the carb, save some cash.

My BBD Carter had a hole in the float. Less than $10 fixed it while on the car.
 

Thanks fellas. I found the Holley 1945 on ebay ($200) and rockauto ($130-150). Carb rebuildin' looks scary to me, so I thought I'd just buy one. However, after your comments, I'll give the rebuilding a lash. Is Rockauto okay for the rebuild kits? While I'm on that subject, is Rock okay for all the mopar parts? If not, could you recommend a good supplier for my Duster with knowledge and quality parts (even if a bit more expensive)? Thank you again.
 
I buy a lot from rock. They are just a reseller, so quality depends on what you buy. Shipping can be the killer, so I try to consolidate orders. Autozone's parts are usually more, but the total often comes out less with their "free shipping if >$75".
