I have a 67 (65-67) Carter AFB 4394S off of a 273 HIPO. The carb is in good condition and came off of a running cars a few years back. I am asking $75 shipped to the lower 48.

I prefer PayPal (you pay the fees)

I'm sure the 273 carbs with automatic trans were 4295 or 4305S for CAP emissions in 67.
Automatic, manual, CAP, and year model, all had different numbers. Wasn't a heck of a lot of difference in them.
There is a long chart/list of those numbers somewhere. I may have a copy of it in my archives from around 2007. Hope this helps

Is carb still for sale? Do you know if it is any/much different than a '65 carb? Thanks. Tom.

Yes, the '65 carb is different, mostly in appearance, but this carb will function just fine on a '65 engine. If you're not interested in pure stock appearance, you're good to go.

Thanks for the info redfish and 65val. Stock appearance is exactly what I'm going for, even though my 65 gt conv. auto was originally a 2 bbl, someone before me put on a much later AFB and an RV cam ( I don't know jack about cams) that runs sweetly even with super low compression. For some reason I started collecting the valve covers and air cleaner for a HiPo even though I don't need it, mostly because they're getting rare. I think I'm destined to put one together some day. It could also go in my 64 barracuda, but I'd rather not mess with it since it's still totally original, I'm always keeping my eye open for a 65 carb and the linkage.
