I am looking for an original 1969 dodge dart shop manual and all I can seem to find around are the CD-ROM versions. Has anyone used these and how are the pictures? I have so far only heard positives that they are nice to print off the pages and not get the book greasy but personally I prefer the manual itself...maybe I am weird but I like reading through them and figuring stuff out even when not working on a car and I don't have a computer in the bathroom to read a cd. I am worried about copied manuals also for quality reprint issues...guess it seems I want an original. Anyone have an original 69 dart shop manual you want to sell me????

Thanks. GSS340 Len "Andy" 618-978-2413

Hi! I've got the '69 dart manual on cd from moparmanuals.com. It is pretty good, but you bring up a good point with not being able to read it in the bathroom! :sad1: I think that the picture quality is pretty good on it. Plus it's not only for '69 dart, its also for '69 charger, coronet, superbee, and swinger, that is if i remember correctly..... it does have its good points, like being able to print out any page as many times as you like. Sometimes I wish I had the actual manual though...

Go on ebay motors and look under manuals and literature, and type in dodge. You should come up with lots of them. There are original and reproduction.
I have some of each, and it doesn't make any differance. The repos I have are all very good quality, no problems with them.

You will have to get the one for your year Dodge, they do not make them by just one single car.

Thanks, will check them out. If the quality is fairly decent on a reproduced one that will work.

I'm happy with my CD version. I print off whole sections as I need them. Even printed my complete wiring diagrams and taped them together...and I DO like not getting my originals greasy.

You could always get a cheap laptop for the bathroom:toothy8:

I have both, but I have been trying to add to my paper manual library when I find them cheap. I have spent "real money" on ones for cars that I won, but not for others. There are advantages to both and nothing wrong with the reprints.

do you have a computer in your garage? I like the hard copy version. The greasy pages bring back memories and help me to find the 'most used' sections!
