Cecil Higginbotham was a big part of the local Mopar scene here in Central Florida.
He, George Barq and Rick Senkow were involved with the Moparty local group until it pretty much dissolved when Barq moved away in the 90s.
Have never heard from Barq again, dropped off the Mopar earth after divorce and relocating.
Cecil frequented all the Mopar Swaps and did some serious racing at Gainesville in the 80s.
Got married and we pretty much never heard from him again.
He had a serious Mopar collection featuring a silver 66 Hemi Charger, hopefully they were finally claimed or sold or whatever after his death.
--------------------------------
Ran into the guy that purchased his 73 Duster drag Car and learned that Cecil is no longer with us.
Passed away 2018 per google, so not Covid related.
Pretty sad, cause he just retired from UPS.
Any info on my friend Cecil would be greatly appreciated.
Pics would be even better, if you have some.
THANX.
