okay, this might sound stupid, but could somebody post pics of their center console? I'd like some looking at it through the back glass, and some just all around pics. thanks guys, this will help me a bunch!

I don't have too many pics of the interior of my '74, but here's what it looked like last year (the difference being, it's in the middle of a 4-speed conversion now, while keeping the center console)

thanks man! I've put mine in, it's just I think I need to move the very front bracket over, you wouldn't happen to have a pic looking straight down it from the back would you? once again thanks!

okay, I just searched the internet over. lol guess nobody ever took a pic of the console from the back. would anybody mind taking this pic for me? I'd Really apprieciate it! thanks.

Ok , so now that we know positioning those mounting brackets is the heart of your question we may be able to help.
First you need to know that if the console isn't lined up right the sliding blind in a automatic shifter bezel will not function properly or last very long.
The console is no where near the center of the hump but the hump isn't centered or square to the car either.
Back when I produced console brackets I included a paper templete used to position the brackets properly.
I dony know if anyone here would still have the templete. Couldn't hurt to ask
Hope this helps

yeah, I guess I should have explained it better. okay well with one of jayd's links, there was a paper graph. that should be all I need! thanks guys! this will help me lots! you mopar guys seem to always be willing to help others!

okay, just an update (to those interested) as it tunrs out, even though I guessed, I was dead on. the problem was the front bracket arms were bent towards the drivers side. I bent them back, best looking console ever! lol thanks again guys.
