Ceramic Headers 67-69 Barracuda 340

Thanks guys for all this information, definitely know what to expect with the TTI setup now.

Still interested to know if there is any member on here running Doug's ceramic headers on their A-body with a 727. No one can seem to give a definite answer inregards to why these headers will not fit on a car with a 727.

I need to know own the answer to that same question!.. Was just about to buy Doug's and noticed it said won't fit with the 727.. Has anyone gained any more info? I have 408, 727 and power steering and need good headers.

Picked up on Patriots from Jegs. They fit my 360 in my 69 barracuda with a 904. I raised the torsion bars to gain a little ground clearance, $399.

I bought Dougs for my 340 with a 5 speed, but before I separated the engine and the 727 I tried the headers to see why they wont fit with a 727. I didn't see any issues. I had to ding them a bit around the t bars

Dougs fit like a glove on the 408 w/ 727! Absolute amazing how they fit! Defiantly need the mini starter though! wow....

i guess theres no way to get headers on , with the motor already in?

put mine on with the engine in,, BUT the steering column was out as well as the T bars, steering linkage was dropped and the 90* filter adapter was off. other than that, can o' corn. lol. oh ya got to jack er up high.
