yes it is.Now you see why guys like me,that do GOOD work, find it hard to get good paying customers to pay what it costs do do a quality resoration the RIGHT way. Most of the car guys with money, have been scared off by jackleggs that claim to be body men because they can sling and sand bondo and fiberglass, instead of hammer and dollying dents, and welding in new steel.Yes,even when you wel in new metal there will be some putty were the joined areas are,but not much.Anyway, those tyep of guys, makes it hard for guys like me to make a living doin what i love

I purchased the car shown on pics below for a few years ago. Beautifil eh..

I bought it from a guy who in his turn did purchased it from the company in question. However the bodywork was some of the worst work I have ever seen. The floors were completely rusted off from the rocker panels. The trunk floor was consisting of 1/10" thick plates thrown in to the trunk and spotwelded together. When this was removed I could bend off the rear leaf shackle mounts. All of this I was informed of by the seller but I bet that he was not.

It had new rear quarter panels though. They were overlapping about 2-3" on top and the welding seam was covered with a 3-4" wide and about 1/2" thick layer of bondo. Also the rear quarters were not attached to the wheelhouse panel at all. Just filled with building foam, the type that expands, as well as the rusty frame rail and covered with undercoating.

I did some work on the car, but the more I repaired, the more I found. The car drove lovely and looked great but not if looked too close. I did not feel cheated since the price of the car was what I payed for to the previous owner (who did a lot of work on it regarding rebuilding the engine, transmission, rearend and interior and I wonder why...) but still I was surpriced that HLPAG does bodywork that way.

Why bother to cover up the rust with fiberglass on the rear frame rails if it was a budget job...deceptive.
