Classic Country

I always loved Highway 101. They had a long string of number one hits with Paulette Carlson singing. And who couldn't dig Merle Haggard when he's "drinkin' that sweet bubble up and eatin' that rainbow stew"?

I got turned on to country music when I was going through a divorce back in the mid-80s - guess that's kind of appropriate since so many songs are about a cheatin' wife. I found it to be good honest music.
Current wife grew up listening to classic country music. One of her favorite old-timers is 'Luke the Drifter'. I'm sure some of you know who he is but I bet not too many do.
