For years the question has been asked, "Which came first? The chicken or the egg?

Finally we have definitive proof as well as evidence of when the egg hatched - in a twisted geographical twist - if we apply the question to the following USA towns:

* Egg Harbor, New Jersey
* Hatch, Utah
* Chicken, Alaska

History records show that Egg Harbor, New Jersey clearly came first as it is first mentioned in writings about 1693.

Hatch, Utah, wasn't incorporated until 1934

So, if Egg Harbor was first in 1693, and Hatch wasn't until 1934, how in the world did Chicken, Alaska, find it's way to the middle since it was first founded by gold miners in the late 1800s?

Looks like we have another riddle!
