Anyone have a solution to restoring a new look to dull plastic tail light lenses? Appreciate any suggestions.

Rubbing compound and a lot of elbow grease with a soft cloth will get most of it out.

i've used toothpaste on yellowed headlights before, worked good for a while but came back eventually.

Some red rear lenses get dark for sure. Take the fixture apart and wash the inside and upgrade the reflective bowl helps.
If its 67 or 69 Barracuda, Same service applies plus you can add bulb sockets to those fixtures.

3m's plastic cleaner & polish works great. If real bad wet sand with 1500/2000 grit first.

autozone and advance auto have lens polishing kits for plastic lenses in the auto body section. They seem to work fine for me and the luster is very nice

You can use heat but you have to be VERY careful. I would only suggest giving a small propane torch a try as a last resort if nothing else works.
