Clutch switch test

How do I check my single wire clutch switch? does it ground to the pedal assembly? Im changing over my 68 barracuda from an automatic to a four speed. What do i need to change or ad as far as wireing goes? Im guessing this wire goes to the starter relay for the start ground.

Yes it works like the original automatic NSS, goes to ground. "Physically" and electrically, I'm not familiar with how they were mounted, anymore.

So i should have continuity from wire to THE mounting stud.

When the switch is in the pedal-down position,yes. But be sure it grounds back to the battery through the dash-ground and the chassis ground.
