I was curious, if I were to replace the ignition coil in my 65 barracuda formula S with the 273 commando engine, what should I be looking for. May not have to replace the old one, but was doing some reading and that was one of the things they were recommending.
My engine is stock

If the car has the stock dual point distributor, stick with a stock type replacement coil. Chome coils look nice but do not shed heat, the emissivity of chrome is 0.04 vs 0.95 for black paint, a huge difference. High voltage coils are hype too. If your car runs great, stick with what you already have.

Thanks, I think the coil is a little weak, I wasn't sure which direction to go.
