Im new here and this is my first post on this site so if I'm in the wrong area please forgive me.

I have a 1970 Plymouth Duster with a 440/727 automatic. The car was manual at one point in time before I got it so I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to get a column shifter working with my 727. I have an automatic column and a bunch of spare column pieces but no linkages or cables. Can someone please explain in detail, what parts I need, and how to make it all work perfectly?

Thanks,
Craig.

So, this started out as a auto, with an auto column, someone ran a 4 speed, and now it's a 727?

Personally, I'd install a ratchet shifter and call it good, but if you want to stay with the column shift, get a hold of @whitepunkonnitro and I'm sure he's got all the bits you need

You likely need a service manual showing all the pieces in their locations. There are downloads at mymopar.com. Thats where i found for my barracuda.

Yes, it started out as a 318 automatic, then someone turned it into a 340 clone with a 4 speed. I bought it as a roller. It still has the clutch pedal cluster too.
