I never understood why people paid the premium for Snap-On...until I bought a couple - they feel way better in your hand, and the box-ends don't have as much thickness around them, so the fit more places better
I have to bring up Harbor freight. Just about the only place I buy tools anymore. Prices are a fraction of anywhere else & are lifetime guaranteed. For a shade tree mechanic like me who doesn’t wrench for a living, they are the perfect blend of quality and price.
Ok, I am probably silly but got curious about that pot metal wrench from Crescent, so I ordered one single 7/16 combination wrench since I am missing that size in my tool box. If pot metal I will not loose a whole lot. If it is good, I am fine with that too.

And their higer end hand tools are pretty nice.
Does Harbor Freight have several series of tools, like home tools, and professional tools ?

When it comes to wrenches and ratchets, I buy snap on. But NOT from the truck, you can save significant money by buying on ebay. When it comes to tools, I always try to buy high quality stuff. I have hopefully another 50 years of life left, by then ill be in my mid 80's. So the stuff has to last at least that long. LOL
