console brackets

I am installing an auto console in a 73 A-body and I was wondering if there are measurements somewhere as to where to plant these brackets down.

I know there is a tolerance but does anyone have a gauge where to place the console brackets??

I have a tunnel cut out with the brackets still attached. I'll try to get it out and get you info and pics.

There isn't a lot of room for error with automatic consoles. Operate the shifter all through its motions and locate the console to it. otherwise the plastic blind in the bezel wont live very long. Good luck

I placed my shifter and linkage first to get a starting point then measured off the shifter back. Made sure console holes and bracket holes lined up . I may have hit it lucky but had to do very little measuring.
