Console insulation 4 speed

Ok not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot. 68 Dart 4 speed console car. Where the shifter comes up through the floor pan there is a ton of hot air and fumes coming up through there so what would go there to block the fumes and heat..it's like a damn furnace..factory had to have something there.

It is supposed to have a boot. I have a upper boot on the console and a lower boot on the hump.

It has the upper boot no lower.

I think Brewer Performance has them. If not try Classic Industries.

It should have a lower boot which is the same boot as the non-console cars.
