Console placement

Hi, I bought a factory console for my 63 Dart, I was going to go manual trans, but changed my mind. I already have an A-904. I saw somewhere where a Promatic shifter will work with this console?

Found this on ebay for about 150, but I think I could fab up the brackets~ I'd hate to cut the entire hump out. However this pic does kind of show me where the shifter housing goes;)

Thats a 1965 Dart console.

Yes, the console is for a 65 and it will fit, I have seen others install aftermarket shifters under them, but I would wait on making the brackets to hold the console till you fit the shifter under it. It will look great.
