A little help please?????? Can someone out there tell me the how to remove the silver shift knob after removing the allen screw on a floor console on a 66 Barracuda floor shift?

once you back off the allen screw just spin the the chrome upper handle off

Beware of the spring inside the chrome handle, under the button....it'll go flying after the button unscrews from the cable inside the shifter handle.

Lol,yeah it will. just have your palm over the push button as you spin it slowly. I forgot to mention that

Counterclockwise to remove, clockwise to re-install.
