convert 67 dart HT windshield trim to 68 style

Do the 68 style windshield trim clips need holes to be drilled in the windshield area so that clips can be screwed in?
If not, how are the clips fastened to the body?

Yes on a b body they do.I also want to do this on my 67 Barracuda.Anyone have pics on where exactly to postion the clips.Right to the outer edge of the window channel if I remember right???

That picture is a bit deceiving. You want the very top of the clip flush with the top of the channel. When you run your finger off the edge of the window channel towards the glass you want to feel the clip flushness with the channel.
