The outer stamping of the 67, 68, 69 and 73-76 Dart fenders are essentially the same except for the side marker light.
I can cut and weld.
I have several 73-76 Dart fenders here and have heard of people making them work for a 67-69 Dart.
Yeah, I know that there are differences with the headlight position and a few mounting issues but I don't remember exactly what those are.
What exactly are the differences?
In a 73-76, does the headlight mount need to be moved over and down?
What about the inner fender panel that attaches to the core support...are they different?

I have a 73 Valiant and a 1970 Valiant. The 70 is a parts car and I put the 70 nose on the 73 and thought I would have to use the fenders. The ONLY difference on the 70 fenders is a small tab i needed to fab and weld on upper front fender. I don't know if there is any difference between the Valiant and Dart on these years.

From what I remember did this in 1977. Put a 74 Dart fender on a 69 Dart. I'm pretty sure all else was a bolt on.
Attach fender then the 67-69 grill to see just how much the headlight bucket needs moved

So e good info here.

My 67 dart has what I believe is a later front fender without modification.

I did this before I knew there was a difference.

It looks like it might have been an OEM replacement fender. Inside was black e coat like paint no tar or body color. But there were no signs the headlight bucket was relocated or side marker lights filled in.

I had the fender chemically stripped.

The only thing is the square holes for the head light bezel are not in the correct location for 67.

And 67, 68 and 69 bezels are all different in their location and mounting holes.

I am using the 67 one year only stainless wheel opening trim that fits correctly. I measured both sides and they have the same tire to rear and tire to front spacing.

Later year? drivers side.

I looked at a car show at several years darts and iirc the 74 was the one that had all the same attachments points and crush ribs.

(Note the crush ribs and the un used bolt hole by the core support)

The bezel does not fit 100% but it goes on.

I found some additional photos of the fender I used.

Interesting that the SAE date is 69?

The GT trim holes were added after the fact but before I got the fender, the big hole for the turn signal is too big and slightly off center. The GT badge was also mounted too far back they drilled through the stiffining brace.

As for other years...
No crush ribs, 2 bolt holes not used in 67.

I have done this exact conversion. I used the entire front inner structure with headlight mount from the 69 fender and swapped it into the 74 fender, and cut and butt welded in the side marker opening.

I have just done this conversion (still in process), Dana67Dart has some good information in his post. I was going to move the headlight bucket, but ended up finding a couple 1969 Dart "parts" fenders for $50 each and removed the headlight bucket area and installed them in my 1973 Dart fenders. The headlight was going to have to move up and to the center of the car, AND forward. The grill mounting tabs need to be fabricated too, which I used from the parts fenders. I had to elongate a couple of the fender mounting holes too. Also the lower square hole is in the wrong spot for the headlight bezel, but the upper one seems to work.
