Just bought meself a cool 273 Safari station wagon , in pretty good nick i reckon , gunna keep the bloody thing stock as , gone are the days of me rooting up cars to make go quicker etc … This one is unmolested and will stay that way , need help on the carby, the bloody pull off is rooted , so point me in the right direction for that fellas, seems like a cool site , bin readin some stuff before i lobbed .Will post a happysnap if i can work how , im an old turd and cant work out these bloody pewters half the time …

stock as a rock , cept for a flow through muff and a 2” pipe back from the bloody octopus factory piped under the donk that join the two together, christ knows how they lasted this long FFS ??? Still under 150K miles spose that helps

Those remote filters were used on RHD models. Not sure if there were other applications, but we see them on UK models too.

Welcome to FABO. I chuckled when I read your FFS. We use that here so you will fit right in. @71GSSDemon , @68original :rofl: :rofl:

Yea, Im in Australia mate, My 1966 Safari Wagon (Australia) V8 , top of donk stock oil filter, is it under full oil pump pressure ? Some kokhead told me its a bypass filter and does SFA fact or fiction blokes ??? ; Got a Ryco filter for her R2091P But found the fit around the hole is like tenth in like after the same sheila in a knockin shop ... !!! Pretty sloppy ... What happened to posting pics now ??? Never had that http crap before, went straight to my pics ... too fkn old for more new siht FFS ...!!! , what I posted in the mystery area :-o ... what say you learned crew FFS ...???

Unfortunately no. I have what looks similar for a house plumbing set up. From Dads old Plumbing and Heating shop. Used one as a radiator overflow on a rat rod. What are you trying to sort out? Filter elements?

Ryco make an element but it is a poxy fit , so being an old plummer meself , I fitter a cistern rubber over the big gap , Filter only came with the red fiber washer which does SFA apart cop the spring on it , My main question is that filter under full pump pressure from the oil pump ??? Pissey little pipe into the filter IMHO, but them was the olden days sorta , note the gap with the red fiber washer
