Year model of car and is it a Ralleye cluster?

There is tons of info on this site about gauges / clusters /

I have this problem also, if I give the dash a bump they work. Mounting screws are tight.

Do a search of this site. There is tons and TONS of info

You need a service manual if you don't have one. "It was down" last couple of days, but MyMopar has lots of service manuals free for download. Some of them there came from the guys here at FABO

Since this is two gauges acting up it's likely one problem related to both. You probably need to get the cluster out and go through it. "If you are lucky" it's the instrument regulator called by various names, IVR, voltage limiter. RTE sells a good replacement

There can be OTHER problems

On my own 67,

the PC board pins were broken or loose, and the spring clips which make up the socket into which the IVR plugs were not making contact with the board. You need new boards, or repair yours

Also on my car, the gauge stud nuts were loose. Replace the nuts, and loosen / tighten them several times to clean the board material

Also clean your bulb socket contacts on the board, bend the socket contact springs or replace, and get new bulbs.

And.......add a ground pigtail to the dash cluster and bolt it to the dash frame or column support.

The Rallye dash has a tachometer. Yours is regular. The reason asked was because the Rallye dash had the IVR inside the fuel gage until 1973, as did early A's (1963-66). Your IVR just unplugs from the rear of the dash circuit board. I bought electronic adjustable replacements on ebay for $30 (search "voltage limiter" and "Plymouth").
