i have a basicly stock 318 with ebrock performer intake and matching 600cfm for barrell and was givin a 150062 camshaft and matching lifter kit will it help my stock engine or is it a waste to put cam in car without other mods thanks alan l

Do you have the specs of the cam? Since looking them up @ Crane Cams is no longer possible.

rind Number:284 H12Operating Range:3000-6200 RPMDuration Advertised:284° Intake / 284° ExhaustDuration @ .050'' Lift:228° Intake / 228° ExhaustValve Lift w/1.5 Rockers:.480'' Intake / .480'' ExhaustLobe Separation Angle:112°Max Lift Angle:107° ATDC Intake / 117° BTDC ExhaustOpen/Close @.050'' Cam Lift:Intake - 7° BTDC (opens) / 41° ABDC (closes)
Exhaust - 51° BBDC (opens) / (3°) BTDC (closes

I think that would be a bit much for a stock 318..

something like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-CL20-220-3/ would probably suite that engine a little better.. imo.

Grab a converter and some gear......you'd be surprised

Good find. How did you do that? At summit?

I have no doubt that a good converter and some decent gears would make it scream. Just sayin if it's a tired 318.. might be better to upgrade a couple things with the cam. :thumblef:

eh.. actually summit isn't very good for specs.. But for some reason jegs still has all the specs for the crane cams.

Crane is back..but their website is still lacking.
