I agree. I don't even hunt deer. I probably need to because their population in Georgia is staggering. I don't think I could kill something that beautiful. I could if it comes down to needing the meat to survive, but that would be the only reason.
 
I still hunt for the meat, that said I don't think I would try and get that
close for a shot with no exit at that dangerous of an animal.
He was in danger whether he took the shot or not in my opinion.
All I can say is Damn!
