I know it is early but does anybody who is doing it know when the cruising the coast is in 2015 in Long Beach. We are going to try and bring the 3 cars down this year. thanks,Bill

Hey Bill it is always the first full week of October you better make a reservation soon or you won't find a room. The wife and I stay in Bay St. Louis at the Hollywood hotel great place let me know if you need any more info. Ed

Bill also it is the whole coast from ocean springs to bay St. Louis. A very good time I have been going 10 years now

We're planning to go this year! Thanks for the reminder to book early.

I was stationed in Biloxi with the Air Force but didn't have a classic car then. We used to take the Durango down to beach blvd, back it in and sit in the back with a cooler to watch the cars go by.

I don't know when you last attended but it is a huge event make sure you are there Thursday for Mopars at the marina put on by the Big Easy Mopar club. Good food great fellowship and just plain fun. Great picture ops for cars and beach.

well my wife is from Pass Christian and we have family all over down there but if we can go, I will probably book a condo in Biloxi. I just need to make plans. Plan on trailering the Duster and Dart Sport down there and driving the Valiant. I just have to get all this worked out and I need to start now. Thanks guys.

Thanks 73hcode and Pentastarnut!

That's great that there is a Mopar event...I'll be sure to be there!! I'll be trailering my Barracuda also. Started looking at places to stay last night.

Well everyone jacks the price up that week and to me towards Biloxi is just to conjested so I stay in Bay St. Louis. At tha Hollywood. Great show there great show in ocean springs and long beach. You will enjoy everything but the traffic.

yeah hcode, I can imagine how crowded it can be during that time. I was stationed at Keesler AFB back before I went to Vietnam. When we go down and visit family it can get congested then. I may look towards the Bay also. didn't think of the traffic. I think my wife read somewhere that there was 7000 cars down there last year. that's a lot.

...and i'll bet there's three times that many that just show up and cruise. i lived in Bay St. Louis, beautiful place. on the the last saturday a bunch of us from Big Easy Mopars do that show location because it's easy to get around and lot's to see there.

the trick is to go where you want to hang out for the day, park and set up camp to enjoy the endless parade of cars and chicks that never stop going by (.Y.) :D

ahhhhhh ......you dirty old man you. your better half don't know that does she. wheres the best place Harry.lol

You guys are bringing back some memories! Me and my family lived from 2003 - 2005 when I was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. We sold our house and left several months after Hurricane Katrina.

It's been 10 years since we lived there but we have visited twice since leaving. Yeah, I can see traffic being terrible during Cruising The Coast...it was bad all summer long without 7,000 plus cars cruising around!

I'm registered!!!

Keep in mind that the 7,000 cars are registered. There's at least that many that are not registered. Mine for one.

come on down duster, always a blast, even with the traffic. been goin for years now and staying the whole week. you can learn your way around and miss a lot of the headaches. :D dave.

Hey Bill when you register your car you get entry to the show venues I am not sure the cost but you can register when you get here. The marina show is just Mopars and all are welcome. The shows are either Thursday Friday and Saturday with the one at Ocean Springs being the most senic show you start lining up at 5 am to get a good spot the others are come and go but always a lot of nice cars. Google cruising the coast and you should find out about preregistration. I hope you get to come you will truly enjoy it.

well I am going to try and get it all together. May have to drive 2 of the cars and trailer mine. have a lot to work out here. but getting started on it soon.

it doesn't really amount to much, but if you register after august, you wont get the t-shirt. and if you wait to reg. when you get here, I believe it goes up to 90 bucks. it should all be on their web site. dave.

well, I guess it is a go for us. I just booked 2 rooms at the Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis for that week. Going to trailer my Duster and be driving the Dart Sport and Valiant down. I cant believe I am doing this.

AWESOME!!! I'm glad you're all set.

I can't believe I registered either but my wife and I have talked about it ever since we moved away from there in 2005. At least I have some time to save up funds for the trip! We lived in Biloxi and we are thinking about getting a room there but with a couple of FABO members staying in Bay St. Louis maybe we'll stay there also.

better not wait long to reserve the rooms. they are getting low on reservations for that time. what I liked is that you can reserve them but don't have to pay till you get there at the casino.
