Got the bracket from Nostalgic Air in Florida. Only company to offer a Slant Six kit.

But the bracket only fits late model Slant's with plenty of room up front.

Early A Bodies pushed the fan too close to the radiator.

We had to modify the bracket to fit.

Thanks for the info! I bought a complete 79 F Body setup from whutepunkonnitro which puts the belt in the same location as an early A with factory AC - to the rear of the fan belt. It appears that the fan location will not change using the F Body setup. We shall see once everything is mounted.
