I have a question which is probably a dead end. I have a 69 Barracuda with SBP which is going to be a long distance driver, potentially I want to do a road trip round Australia, so I am prioritising a more practical sizing for the wheels and tyres and also looking for something different from the Cragars and Rallye wheels which are available.
I have narrowed down the set up I’m after, (thanks for the help on that).
At the moment I’m thinking Minilite / Superlite wheels which are available with custom bolt patterns and offsets in the UK.
But my ideal would be a set of steels in 15” that I can fit my 14” wheel covers onto for a stock look. I’d need these in a 7” and 9” wide rim and I want to specify the backspace.
Does anyone know of custom wheel builders in the States who could do this and more importantly would be able to ship the wheels to the UK.

Thanks all.

I recommend just buying rallye’s from summit (wheel vintiques brand) and just putting your (or a 15”) wheel cover on those. I don’t think any 14" wheel cover would fit a 15" wheel anyway.

Otherwise, I’m sure you should have a shop capable of widening wheels in Aussie land? All they do over here is cut the Center out of your current 14” wheels and weld them in the new barrel of a 15” wheel by what ever width you want at what ever offset you require…. But it might get pricey….

I use STS Imports to get items sent to the UK. Get US supplier to ship items to their Georgia office and they put it in a container. Usually takes about 6 weeks to arrive, so ok if you are not in a hurry. Email Ron for a quote so you know how much you are looking at....

I think he’s referencing to the fact that the mini lites are custom bolt patterns and offsets which are offered in the UK. I don’t think he needs anything shipped to UK.?

I think there is a possibility the 14” covers might drop into the step on a 15” either they might clip naturally against the 2nd step, or I might be able to use very shallow trim rings to hold them in place. As you say the WV Rallyes are available.

Thanks for that, any idea if they do a consolidated shipment, there’s a few things I want but from different suppliers, it would be good to get them shipped in one bundle to save costs.

Yes the Minilites are here in the UK, but no one does the custom steels here only banded rims which I want to avoid, so I was looking at getting them made in the States.

I've never done that, so dont know. Website usually says when container is due in and out, so might just be timing, but again, drop Ron an email.
