I have a 70 Dart and i want to run a 28 inch tires a 275 60 15 to be exact and i need to shave the front real wells does anyone have pics of this trying to keep it looking as stock as possible.. Thanks

Moving the rearend back may be a better option, to keep if stock looking.

Thought cutting quarters would be cheaper and easier so how does on go about moving rear back?? Sounds invoved

offset spring hangers and some creative banging or jackine will make the width you need and give you a little room. are you saying you need to trim the front for the height? i have 255 70 15s on my 69 they just barely kissed the front edge on big bumps or turnign into driveways. i never felt it or heard it i nthe car but it was just enough to rub the paint off. no marks on the tires. i made up some 1/4" shim plates to mount in between the front hanger to shim it back. i really believe that 1/4" was all i needed. those tires were 29"x10".

You shouldn't have to cut the front wheel lip with 28" tall tires.

I was told you should have 1 inch between the tire and front lip of quarter pannel to be safe. Since im beating the **** out of this car and not Sunday driving thought this was the best move.
