I have a 68 Dart GTS with drum brakes and 14" stock wheels. The front tires are BFG's and are 215/60/14 and fit just fine. I am going to do 2 upgrades, first is wheels/tires and then a disc front brake conversion. First step is I'm replacing the wheels/tires. I was thinking of going to 15x7 up front and using BFG's 225/60/15's. I am going to buy the US Wheel Rallye style and they come in several sizes that will fit a 225/60/15 tire. They make a 15x6 with a 4inch or 4.5inch BS and they make a 15x7 with a 4.5inch BS. My question is does it matter? Is there a difference in the size of the wheel that will fit by changing from drum to disc and what would be the safe bet to buy since I know what tire size I want in the front. I do not want any fitment issues and wonder if anyone knows the answer to this dilemma. Appreciate the input if someone has a similar setup. Thanks.

what disc brakes are you going to? 4" or 4.5"?

our dart has 4.5" bolt pattern disc upfront and a 15X7 rim with 4.5" backspace with a 225/60-15 tire on it.. could ealsily fit 4.75 backspace on it and wish i would have..
