it actually kicks off on the 18th, but this even wouldn't be a test n tune event. 70th anniversary for the track this year.
That Mai be one of the newer styles that you can adjust the amount of mechanical advance with a screw.
Any Mopar vacuum advance that has the hex behind the nipple has the adjustable vacuum can.

On a side note, not much has been mentioned about the MPH. It's hard for me to put a MPH on this thing. I can't see any way it will out MPH a factory '68 GTX. About the same weight, cutting more wind, and less HP ??

Ok so let's say it's a 74 GTX.
I see 96 mph. With a 1.9's in the 60 ft, we'd be very low 14's. When I think of MPH, I guess I think of low 14's. When I think of the potential HP and TQ, I think of high 13's. Weird

Good number. I guess I was so focused on ET, and how it would get that ET that I never really considered what my expectations were for MPH. I may be in for a surprise, but I can't see it breaking 100

ET is just gonna tell you if it all works together. MPH will tell you if it’s making power or not. Don’t ask how I know.
I 100% agree. I'm counting on a good ET because I have the truck working (at least with the 5.9).

That's my friend and he's doing my transmission. He's been racing that truck since the early 80s. It was the record holder in his class in Stock Eliminator in the mid 90's

Yes. Stocker it had to be. Didn't make BB's in those years.
So is that who yer goin after?
naw, last year he was running a next to stock 360 and at 4k lbs, I was faster than him. He is bracket racing now, not stocker stuff
