dart sport, rear window

Very , very carefully :)

Remove the window trim. There should be a rubber lock strip in the gasket (like the front windshield). Remove the lock strip. Theoretically, you should now be able to push the glass out from the inside. BUT, there will likely be some glue and sealer. Proceed with caution. At this point, the safest bet would be to sacrifice the window gasket, by cutting it if necessary, to free the glass. It's likely due for replacement anyway. Your call.

As 70duster440 said. If you push on it from the inside it will pop out. Use Soft soled shoes and push around the edges. If you are careful and do it slowly it should come out easily. Just apply even pressure and do not use any tools to pry the window out as it will break in a hurry.

I need to remove the chrome trim above the side windows, for this I believe I need to remove the rear windows and lower the door windows.
Rear windows are the flip out kind.

Yes, you'll need to remove the roof rail weatherstrip first - amongst other things. Check out the "Weatherstrip" video on my web site for details on this area.

Are you removing the side windows or the back window? If it is the side windows ignore everything I said.

If I remember correctly, to remove the quarter pop-out windows you will first remove the plastic sail panels to gain access to a large screw towards the latch end that's holding the window frame in place. There are also a few small screws hidden underneath the rubber seal that separates the quarter windows from the door windows (top and bottom).

Once you get the quarter windows removed, you'll find a handful of screws along the length of the roof rail (again, underneath the rubber seal). There will be a seal sandwiched between the roof rail and the roof, and you will want to replace it. When you put everything back together, to check at the very far rear end of the quarter window and make sure the weatherstrip makes GOOD contact with the roof/body channel. I had to double up the thickness of weatherstrip to seal it properly.

yeah if the quarter window seals aren't touching the body you'll be replacing the quarters and rockers in a couple of years.
