Dart Stripe Question

Just wondering how the factory did the stripe here (the line where the lower valance connects to the quarter panel)?

Do you cut a straight line with a blade, and fold it in ?

Do you just run the stripe down and leave it as is ?

How do you do it ?

Mine runs down and on to the valance.

Whether that's right???

I installed mine a couple weekends ago. Ran it across the seam, squeegee'd (used plastic squeegee from kit covered with cloth) bubbles, etc then went back to the valance/fender seam and slit with a razor blade and pushed excess down into seam with plastic squeegee/fingers.

So you do cut it with a razor and tuck it in ?
