Im going to be replacing the dash in my car and going with individual guages. Im trying to figure out what gauges to go with. There is always the most common Autometer, but what about the other brands. Equus, Summit Racing and so on.

Budget is a factor, also analog or electric. I would like to hear all of your comments on what you have used. Pro's, Cons? Thanks

I would think you would want - Speedo, Tach, coolant temp, oil psi, voltmeter, and fuel. Maybe trans temperature

I have always used autometer and well lets just say i have covered them in water and mud many times, procomp and sport comp. i use the electric gauges just because they are mounted it side and it really sucks when you have an oil line break in side the car and or truck and hot oil squirts all over the place just saying been there done that

i picked up some speedhut gauges, go to the website and play around. They seem good quality, have a ton of extra features, and don't charge extra for custom ones....

My speedhut gauges... only a phone pic, so not the best. They will glow blue/black at nite.

They only do electrical, I opted for the GPS speedo, so I didnt have to worry about connection to the trans. you can youtube videos of them working, and a bunch of the stuff I read said they work good... The lights in the speedo do turnsignal/brights.

The panel (was meant for a duster/demon/valiant but I have a valiant dash in my dart) came from classic dash, I have heard bad things about the fastlanewest one. this one is pretty good fitment, and not too flimsy. Redline gauges makes one too, not sure of quality.

Awesome thanks for the info!

I've seen the fastlanewest and redline ones. I was curious if anyone else has had experiance with them. I do like the fact that you can customize the gauges through speedhut.
